Ogwen Valley, Bethesda,
Snowdonia, North Wales

Bethesda in Gwynedd has one of the largest working slate quarries in Wales. South of the village sits the Ogwen Valley, a traditional glaciated U-shaped valley with steep sides and a flat bottom. Situated in the Snowdonia National Park, Snowden itself is just behind the mountain range on the left as you look down the valley towards the blue skies.
